Susan Winston

Susan was named CROSSHAVEN PERSON OF THE YEAR 2001 at a prize giving in the Schooner Restaurant.

Susan works for FAS and every morning come rain, hail, sleet, snow or sunshine she is out and about making sure the streets of Crosshaven are clean and beautiful.

Susan is originally from the UK but has lived for some time in Germany before settling in Crosshaven with her partner Bruno. They met in London, and moved to Germany where Bruno worked in the building trade, and although he learned fluent German, Susan stuck rigidly to her English!

You will often find the two of them together in Cronin's in the morning time or on a Sunday afternoon enjoying a pint of stout or a well deserved coffee.

Who know what's in store for 2002 for the chirpy couple... maybe Cork Person of the Year????? Let's wait and see...
