Our reopening after renovations

In May 2022 we reopened our beautiful Victorian Bar after 19 months of closure. At the end of August 2020 we were severely flooded and we faced a full renovation of the entire premises, from the front of house, kitchens and stores. We have worked hard to maintain the integrity and history of the building and its unique characteristics.

We were thrilled to learn that we received the Georgina Campbell ‘Pub of the Year 2022’ award, and aim to carry on this success into 2023 and beyond.

We had the most delicious meal out last night, sampling our kitchens new menu. The fire grill we bought last year when reopening, is now the main focus of our dinner menus going forward. Our experience last night proved to us that cooking over fire
